Yesterday morning we were in a melodramatic state. Doing double the number of markets this weekend appeared to be a logistical nightmare. “Everything times two! Get out of town!”, gasped Rory as he mustered all his brain power to perform the necessary calculations.

We were weak... but after a gallant effort that will go down in biltong folklore, we came out the other side as men.

Becoming a man over the course of a day comes with its stressors, so we decided to chill out and declutter our minds the best way we know how. That’s right, we started an upside down fire in our backyard and huddled around it with our favourite teas in hand. If our house wasn’t situated next to a public walkway and local tennis court we could have sworn we were camping in the beautiful Australian wilderness. Nevertheless, it had the desired effect. We are pumped up for the busiest weekend in Barbell Biltong's short history!
